Adjustable Armature Stands
The Adjustable Armature Stand is perfect for sculptors of any level. Its adjustability in both horizontal directions and 360 degree vertical rotation allows for complete control and versatility when working on figure or animal sculptures.
The vertical post hex nuts make it easy to raise or lower your sculpture to your desired height. Available in 18" and 24" options, these stands feature a vertical rod attached to a sturdy metal base and a horizontal rod equipped with an adjustable cross, making it possible to change the angle of your sculpture at any stage of completion. The end of the horizontal rod also includes a slot for tightening the jam nut around your armature wire, keeping it securely in place. Compatible with TruForm and aluminum individual armatures, our Adjustable Armature Stand is a must-have for any sculpting project.

Enginered to allow the base to support weights up to 75 lbs at 45°.
Accepts any 1" diameter shaft to a depth of 1.7".
Single knob controls head movement through three planes: 90° tilt, 360° turn & 360° rotation.
Square base 4.125" x 4.125" has four mounting holes (mounting screws not included).
Internal half ball can be reversed from positive serrated lock (high holding power) to smooth friction lock (low holding power). Height: 3.25" not including top mount.

TruForm Backirons
18", 24" and 28" Backirons are designed to hold up your TruForm armature or regular armature and the 16" Backiron for your regular armature. The nuts on the vertical all thread allow you to adjust the height of your sculpture. The ends of the horizontal all thread on the 28" Backiron will hold 1/4" wire. The 18" and 24" Backirons have grooves for securing 3/16" armature wires to. Just secure to your wood base and create a masterpiece!
